1. Salman Khan - Salman can surely can be called as 'Hit Khan' of the year 2011. He shaked the bollywood box office records with "Bodyguard" and "Ready". Both the films which are remakes of South Indian super hits gave a great boost to the bollywood collections by crossing 100 crore mark. The content of both the films may not be premium, nor the performances are extraordinary, but helped this Khan stand out with amazing collections.
2. Aamir Khan - People got what they missed in Salman Khan's films from "Dhobi Ghat". With a wonderful story and dialogues in his wife Kiran Rao's directorial debut, got a great applause from the audience. "Wow! What an actor!" was the response.
His dare to produce "Delhi Belly" an adult comedy and making it a success one has strengthened his image in Bollywood.
3. Ranbir Kapoor - His parents, grandfather and grandfather are respected and admired for their cinematic genius. Looks like Ranbir Kapoor is not going to collapse it. He excelled in his role in his only film of 2011 "Rock Star", despite of a bad script.
4. Shah Rukh Khan - His much awaited movie "Ra One" was not received well primarily because of the content, but his fans liked him as a super hero including kids. He earned accolades for innovative marketing strategies, optimal use of technology and various promotional techniques.
5. Amitabh Bachchan - This 69 year old "young man" proved once again that he can blew fire with proper script in the name of "Bbuddah Hoga Thera Baap". With the dialogues like 'I will die for a bullet, not with any disease', he said it strongly once more that he is not thinking of retirement. Following with "Aarakshan" as a college principal supporting for the students rights, he did a great job. Though both films couldn't collect huge money, his performance in both made him stand in the top 5 list.
